Produced by Amakuni and distributed by Hobby Japan, this figure is part of the Chuugi no Zou (Statue of Loyalty) lineup. Nanatsu no Bitoku is a TV mini-series that aired in 2018, serving as a companion to the Seven Mortal Sins franchise. The story follows the seven heavenly archangels as they seek a messiah to save humanity from the brink of destruction. Michael is one of the central archangels in the series.
