Tsume's HQS line presents Gaara at 1/8 scale in a figure titled 'A Father's Hope, A Mother's Love' from Naruto Shippuuden, capturing an emotionally resonant moment from the character's backstory. Gaara, the host of the One-Tails, endured a childhood of isolation and rejection similar to Naruto's. His mother, Karura, died giving birth to him, and his father, the Fourth Kazekage, viewed him as a weapon. Despite this, it is later revealed that Karura's love and protection endured even after death, with her will embedded in Gaara's sand abilities. This maternal love, combined with the hope that Gaara could find a different path, forms the emotional core of his character arc. After Naruto shows him the value of bonds, Gaara transforms from a feared killer into the respected Kazekage who protects his village. This 1/8 scale figure stands approximately 380mm tall and is crafted from ABS, magnet, polyresin, polyurethane, PVC, and sand. It was sculpted by a large team including Guillaume Hémery, Giorgia Lenzi, and Patrick Tran.
