Hashirama Senju is the First Hokage and co-founder of Konoha, alongside his rival and friend Madara Uchiha. Known as the God of Shinobi, Hashirama possessed the rare Wood Release kekkei genkai and could tame the Tailed Beasts. His legendary battle against Madara at the Valley of the End shaped the history of the ninja world. Hashirama's vision of a village where children would not need to die in battle became the foundation for the entire shinobi system. His legacy looms large throughout Shippuden, particularly during the Fourth Shinobi World War when he is reanimated.
