Alter's ALTAiR brand presents Natsume Takashi alongside Nyanko-sensei from Natsume Yujin-cho in a 1/8 scale figure. This release captures the gentle protagonist and his feline companion from the beloved supernatural slice-of-life series. Takashi Natsume is the main character of Natsume's Book of Friends, a series centered around a teenager who inherited the ability to see yokai from his late grandmother, Reiko Natsume. After inheriting the Book of Friends — a collection containing the names of yokai Reiko defeated — Takashi makes it his mission to return each name to its original owner. Unlike his grandmother, Takashi is kind toward both humans and yokai, though his abilities made his childhood difficult and left him reserved. Nyanko-sensei, formally known as Madara, is a powerful yokai who serves as Takashi's self-proclaimed bodyguard, often taking the form of a round lucky cat. The figure stands approximately 180mm tall and is made from PVC. It was sculpted by Moriwaki Naoto and Mirano, with a retail price of 6,800 JPY.
