Flare and Square Enix present the DX Edition of YoRHa No. 2 Type B from NieR: Automata, accompanied by her tactical support unit Pod 042. This deluxe release stands approximately 280mm tall for the 2B figure, with Pod 042 reaching approximately 340mm including its stand. NieR: Automata is set in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity has fled to the moon, sending android soldiers from the YoRHa squadron to fight against machine lifeforms that have overrun Earth. YoRHa No. 2 Type B, known as 2B, is a combat android whose stoic professionalism conceals a complex emotional interior. The game explores themes of consciousness, purpose, and what it means to be alive. The DX Edition includes interchangeable parts: a face with goggles and one without, plus a body with the heat-radiating skirt and one without. The figure also comes with the Virtuous Contract sword and display stands. Sculpted by Mitsumasa Yoshizawa for 2B, Takayuki Higashi for the sword, and Fumihiro Matsumoto for Pod 042, this PVC and ABS figure retailed at 27,000 JPY.
