Alter's 1/8 scale figure of Kongiku from Oboro Muramasa brings to life one of the notable characters from the action RPG developed by Vanillaware. The figure showcases Kongiku's distinctive fox-themed design in striking detail. Oboro Muramasa is set in a stylized rendition of feudal Japan and features hand-drawn artwork by George Kamitani, whose visual style is a defining characteristic of the game. Kongiku is a fox spirit character associated with the game's supernatural elements, and her design reflects the rich mythological aesthetic that permeates the title. The game itself is known for its beautiful 2D art direction and deep combat system rooted in Japanese folklore. The figure stands approximately 240mm tall and is made of PVC. It was sculpted by George Kamitani and Fukumoto Noritaka, with a retail price of 11,800 JPY. The sculpt faithfully translates Kamitani's original character illustrations into three-dimensional form.
