About this figure
From Bandai's Figuarts ZERO line comes Franky in his Childhood ver., also known as "Franosuke," depicting the cyborg shipwright during his younger years before his transformation. This non-articulated display figure captures a pivotal era of the character's backstory. Franky, originally named Cutty Flam, grew up in Water 7 as a ship dismantler and apprentice to the legendary shipwright Tom. As a child known as "Franosuke," he was a passionate and headstrong boy who built battle ships for pirates, a practice that ultimately led to tragedy when the World Government used his creations to frame his mentor Tom. After a devastating accident that nearly killed him, Franky rebuilt his own body using scrap metal and cola-powered cybernetics, eventually becoming the Straw Hat Pirates' shipwright and creator of the Thousand Sunny. The figure is made from ABS and PVC materials and is part of the Tamashii Nations Figuarts ZERO collection, which focuses on sculpted, posed figures rather than articulated ones. It comes as a limited edition with an additional accessory.
