MegaHouse presents Gecko Moria from One Piece as part of the Excellent Model Portrait of Pirates DX line, capturing the formidable Warlord of the Sea. Gecko Moria is one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea in One Piece, a former rival of the Yonko Kaido who once commanded a massive pirate fleet. Moria possesses the power of the Shadow-Shadow Fruit (Kage Kage no Mi), which allows him to manipulate shadows, including stealing them from living beings to create zombie soldiers. As the captain of the Thriller Bark Pirates, he lurked in the Florian Triangle aboard his massive ship-island, amassing an army of zombies. Moria's tragic backstory involves losing his entire crew to Kaido, driving his obsession with building an undead army that cannot be killed, believing that a crew of zombies would make him invincible. Standing approximately 320mm tall, this PVC figure was sculpted by MAS and originally priced at 9,000 JPY. It was released as part of the Neo DX 17 line in May 2012.
