MegaHouse's acclaimed Portrait of Pirates (P.O.P.) series features Monkey D. Luffy in their "Sailing Again" subline at 1/8 scale, depicting the character as he appears after the two-year timeskip. Standing approximately 220mm tall and sculpted by ATTM, this PVC figure captures the One Piece protagonist in his post-timeskip appearance. One Piece follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a young man whose body gained rubber-like properties after eating a Devil Fruit, as he pursues his dream of becoming the Pirate King. The "Sailing Again" subline specifically covers characters as they appear after the two-year timeskip that follows the Whitebeard War Saga, during which the Straw Hat crew trained separately to grow stronger for the challenges of the New World. The P.O.P. series is produced under MegaHouse's Excellent Model brandline, known for high-quality detailing and collectible value. This figure was released at a retail price of 6,000 JPY with product code 4535123713507. The P.O.P. line is highly regarded among One Piece collectors, and this Luffy figure has been noted for its good quality despite some critiques of the sculpt.
