Fengrong presents a charming and whimsical take on the legendary cosmic horror entity Cthulhu with the Chibi, Absent-minded Master of R'lyeh DX Ver. figure. This original character figure reimagines H.P. Lovecraft's terrifying creation in an adorable chibi style that contrasts sharply with the source material's cosmic dread. Cthulhu originates from the Cthulhu Mythos created by H.P. Lovecraft, described as a Great Old One who lies dormant in the sunken city of R'lyeh in the Pacific Ocean. In the original lore, Cthulhu is a colossal, tentacled being whose awakening would bring madness and destruction to humanity. This figure playfully subverts that terrifying concept by depicting Cthulhu as a cute, absent-minded ruler of R'lyeh, blending horror iconography with kawaii aesthetics in a way that has resonated with figure collectors who appreciate the creative reinterpretation. Standing approximately 150mm tall, this DX version figure is made from ABS and PVC and was sculpted by Phoenix Nizhuan, Star Shadow Magician, and Jungluu.
