Kadokawa presents Ainz Ooal Gown from the Overlord series. This figure captures the protagonist of the dark fantasy isekai story as part of Kadokawa's figure lineup, bringing the powerful undead overlord into collectible form. Overlord follows the story of Momonga, a player of the MMORPG YGGDRASIL who finds himself transported into the game world as his avatar, the skeletal overlord Ainz Ooal Gown, when the game's servers were scheduled to shut down. Retaining his character's immense magical power and accompanied by the loyal NPCs of his guild, Ainz establishes himself as a ruler in the New World. The series explores themes of power, morality, and identity as Ainz, who retains human emotions that are suppressed by his undead nature, navigates a world filled with political intrigue, powerful beings, and moral ambiguity. His guardian Albedo is one of the most devoted NPCs under his command, and the two have been featured together in multiple figure sets. The figure stands approximately 120 mm tall and was sculpted by Andou Kenji in collaboration with so-bin, the original character designer of the Overlord light novel series. Kadokawa has also produced larger scale Ainz figures, including a 1/4 scale statue set with Albedo standing approximately 62 cm tall, produced in collaboration with ACME Studio.
