Griffon Enterprises released this Nanorich Voice Collection figure of Aegis from Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena as part of their line of small-scale articulated figures with built-in voice features. Standing approximately 105mm tall, this PVC figure was sculpted by Team Genesis and originally retailed for 6,400 JPY upon its release on October 30, 2014. Aegis, also romanized as Aigis, is a central character from Persona 3 who also appears in the Persona 4 fighting game spin-off, The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena. She is an anti-Shadow weapon developed by the Kirijo Group, a humanoid android designed to combat the mysterious Shadow creatures. Despite her mechanical origins, Aegis develops deeply human emotions over the course of Persona 3, forming a particularly strong bond with the protagonist. In the Arena crossover, she brings her unique combat style and arsenal of built-in weaponry to the tournament setting. The Nanorich Voice Collection line incorporated sound modules, allowing the figure to play voice lines from the character. Note that Griffon Enterprises is no longer in business, and figures from this manufacturer are known to commonly have quality issues, making well-preserved examples increasingly rare on the secondary market.
