This soft vinyl figure from Time House depicts Papi from the cult series Popee the Performer. The figure stands 21.5cm tall and includes a miniature 9cm figure of Paola, making it a unique two-piece set for fans of the series. Popee the Performer is a stop-motion animated series that follows the surreal and often darkly comedic adventures of performers at a circus. Papi is a recurring character within this eccentric world, and Paola is a companion figure included alongside him. Notably, this is the only figure available of Paola and one of the only pieces of merchandise ever produced for her, making this set particularly rare among collectors. Papi features articulation at four points—his head, waist, left arm, and right arm—allowing for limited poseability. Both figures are made of soft vinyl, consistent with other Timehouse releases. Paola's decals come on a separate sheet for the owner to apply. This product was only available through pre-ordering directly from Timehouse via telephone during a limited window from late 2001 or early 2002 through July 2002.
