About this figure
Prime 1 Studio's Museum Masterline Series presents the Jungle Hunter Predator at an impressive 1/3 scale, catalogued as MMPR-01. This statue is a direct homage to the classic Predator film released in 1987, which introduced one of the most compelling alien creature designs in cinematic history. The Predator, known as the Jungle Hunter in the original film, is an extraterrestrial trophy hunter who travels to Earth to hunt the most dangerous prey. In the 1987 film, the creature stalks an elite military rescue team led by Dutch Schaeffer in the jungles of Central America, picking them off one by one using advanced technology including a bio-mask with thermal vision, a shoulder-mounted plasma caster, and wrist-mounted double blades. The Predator's code of honor dictates it only hunts armed prey and removes its mask for hand-to-hand combat with worthy opponents, culminating in the iconic final confrontation with Dutch. Standing over 35 inches tall, this polystone statue features LED illumination on the bio-mask, plasma cannon, and wrist control panel. It includes two swappable heads—one with the film-accurate bio-mask and one unmasked roaring portrait—along with interchangeable fists and real netting material across the body.
