This Shishio Makoto figure is the Last One Prize from the Ichiban Kuji Rurouni Kenshin Meiji Kenkaku Romantan: Kyoto Douran lottery, produced by Bandai Spirits under their Masterlise brand. The Shura Teru-en Ver. depicts the character in a dramatic flaming aesthetic, standing approximately 250mm tall and constructed from ABS and PVC materials. Rurouni Kenshin is a celebrated historical action manga and anime set during the Meiji era of Japan. The Kyoto Douran, or Kyoto Disturbance arc, is one of the series' most iconic storylines. Shishio Makoto is the primary antagonist of this arc, a former assassin for the Meiji government who was betrayed and burned alive. Surviving with severe burns and bandages covering his entire body, Shishio became a ruthless warlord seeking to overthrow the Meiji government. His formidable combat abilities and his philosophy that the strong survive while the weak perish make him one of the most memorable villains in the series.
