SEGA's Luminasta line features Saitou Hajime from Rurouni Kenshin, standing approximately 60mm tall and crafted from ABS and PVC materials. Saitou Hajime is the former captain of the third unit of the Shinsengumi, the elite special police force of the late Edo shogunate. Now serving as a special agent for the Meiji Government's Department of Internal Affairs, he retains his lethal combat prowess and signature Gatotsu stabbing technique. His long-standing rivalry with Himura Kenshin dates back to the Bakumatsu conflict, when they fought on opposing sides as a Shinsengumi captain and an Imperialist assassin. Despite their history as enemies, a mutual respect defines their complex relationship throughout the series, embodied in Saitou's enduring code of "Aku Soku Zan" — swift death to evil.
