Bandai Spirits adds Seta Soujirou to their Q Posket line based on the classic series Rurouni Kenshin. Soujirou is one of the most memorable antagonists from the Meiji-era swordsman story, serving as the right-hand assassin of Shishio Makoto and one of the Juppongatana. Soujirou's tragic backstory is central to his character: raised in an abusive family, he was taken in by Shishio after killing his own family in self-defense as a child. This trauma left him unable to feel or express negative emotions, masking everything behind a perpetual smile. His philosophy that the strong survive and the weak perish directly contrasts with protagonist Kenshin Himura's belief in protecting the weak. Their duel is one of the series' most significant battles, where Kenshin's ideology ultimately breaks through Soujirou's emotional wall.
