McFarlane Toys, in partnership with Rooster Teeth, presents Lie Ren as part of RWBY Series 2 — the JNPR collection. This action figure represents one of the four members of Team JNPR, a huntsman team from the animated web series RWBY, created by Monty Oum and produced by Rooster Teeth. Lie Ren is a calm and composed fighter who wields dual stormflower guns and specializes in martial arts combat. He is partnered with Nora Valkyrie, his childhood friend and teammate whom he met after their hometown of Kuroyuri was destroyed. The JNPR team, consisting of Jaune Arc, Nora Valkyrie, Pyrrha Nikos, and Ren, serves as a parallel team to the main RWBY group at Beacon Academy. McFarlane Toys' RWBY Series 2 line brought the JNPR team to collectors in 2016, featuring the detailed sculpting and articulation that the manufacturer is known for across its licensed figure lines.
