Tomytec's Figma line (number SP-074) captures Kogure Kenzou from the classic Japanese television drama Seibu Keisatsu. This figure brings to life one of the key characters from the iconic police action series. Seibu Keisatsu, literally translating to Western Police, aired on TV Asahi from 1979 to 1984 across 238 episodes. The series follows Sergeant Keisuke Daimon and his subordinates, known as the Daimon Force, along with their superior Section Chief Kogure Kenzou, played by Yujiro Ishihara. The show became legendary for its over-the-top explosion scenes and car stunts, with approximately 4,680 vehicles destroyed, 4.8 tons of explosives used, and nearly 320 buildings demolished during filming.
