Sexy Commando Gaiden is an absurd comedy manga by Kyosuke Usuta serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1995 to 1997, later adapted into a 48-episode anime in 1998. Masaru Hananakajima is a transfer student at Wakame High School who dominates all school martial arts clubs before discovering the Sexy Commando guidebook. He founds the Sexy Commando Club, a martial art focused on distracting opponents rather than physical force. Known for his love of mustaches, Masaru marks defeated opponents with the kanji for 'meat' on their foreheads. He consistently wears blue jeans, a long-sleeved shirt, and two mysterious golden shoulder rings of possibly alien origin. The Figma format captures Masaru's eccentric character design with the articulation and accessory options that the line is known for, making it a fitting collectible for fans of this cult classic comedy series.
