Wave brings Ayanami Rei from Neon Genesis Evangelion to their Beach Queens lineup in a special Pearl Color Edition. This 1/10 scale figure presents the iconic pilot in a swimsuit design based on the manga's comic version, finished with a distinctive pearl coating treatment. Rei Ayanami is the First Child and pilot of Evangelion Unit-00 in Neon Genesis Evangelion, one of the most influential anime series ever produced. Known for her quiet, emotionally reserved nature and blue hair, Rei's mysterious origins are deeply tied to the series' central mysteries surrounding NERV, the Evangelion program, and the shadowy organization SEELE. Her complex relationship with protagonist Shinji Ikari and the other pilots forms a core emotional thread of the story. The figure stands approximately 160mm tall and is constructed from ABS and PVC. The prototype was produced by Yozo Ogawa. This Pearl Color Edition was released in April 2016 as an Evangelion Store limited item, featuring a special pearl-colored paint application that gives the figure a unique shimmering finish compared to standard releases.
