SEGA's EX Figure line presents Ayanami Rei from Neon Genesis Evangelion in the Aero Cat edition, featuring artwork contributions from Poyoyon Rock. This figure reimagines the iconic Eva pilot in a feline-themed design that blends the character's recognizable features with playful cat-inspired elements. Rei Ayanami is the First Child and pilot of Evangelion Unit-00 in the landmark anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion. A quiet, emotionally reserved girl with pale blue hair and red eyes, Rei's mysterious origins are tied to the secretive NERV organization and its commander, Gendo Ikari. Her existence raises profound questions about identity and humanity throughout the series, as she gradually develops a sense of self beyond her role as a disposable tool for humanity's defense against the Angels. Standing approximately 100mm tall, this PVC figure was sculpted by Watanabe Akio and Ishizuka Hajime. The Aero Cat version represents one of several creative reinterpretations of Rei produced under SEGA's prize figure lines.
