MegaHouse presents the Ultimate Article figure of Ultraman from the 2022 film Shin Ultraman. This impressive figure stands approximately 400mm tall and features light-up and sound effects, making it one of the most ambitious releases in the Ultimate Article line. Shin Ultraman hit Japanese theaters on May 13, 2022, reimagining the iconic hero with a sleek CG-rendered design that gives him a more stylish and modern appearance than previous iterations. The film is part of the Shin Japan Heroes Universe, bringing a fresh take to the legendary hero who has defended Earth from kaiju and alien threats since 1966. The story follows the SSSP (S-Class Species Suppression Protocol) as they confront mysterious threats alongside Ultraman himself. The figure meticulously captures the seamless body design and reflective silver coloring from the film, with intricate detailing extending to the mask and even the soles of his feet. The base features a switch that activates light-up eyes and sound effects including transformation, beam, and flight sounds. Interchangeable arm parts allow display in either a fighting pose or the iconic Spacium Beam pose, and two base stickers are included featuring either the Ultraman logo or the SSSP logo. The figure requires 3x AAA batteries (sold separately) and was released in October 2022.
