Initially depicted as ruthless and manipulative, willing to use and discard allies to achieve her goals, her character undergoes a dramatic transformation. After subjecting protagonist Kamijou Touma to immense suffering, the two reach a mutual understanding, and Touma ultimately saves her. She is subsequently reduced to 15 centimeters in size with most of her power gone, becoming a recurring companion character.
