This 1/6 scale figure from Gecco depicts the Lying Figure and Red Pyramid Thing from Silent Hill 2, produced in collaboration with Mamegyorai. Standing approximately 330mm tall, the figure is sculpted from ABS and PVC by artists Akao Shin'ya and Yatake Yoshinori, with a retail price of 12,190 JPY. In Silent Hill 2, the Lying Figure is the first creature James Sunderland encounters during his journey through the fog-shrouded town. These monsters are physical manifestations of the memory of James's terminally ill wife Mary on her deathbed and his internal suffering, appearing as hospital patients writhing in agony. Creature designer Masahiro Ito drew inspiration from BDSM fashion and the movements of a co-worker in a hoodie. James follows a trail of blood through the streets to a tunnel, where he discovers a Lying Figure lurking in the darkness, beating it to death before finding scores of them throughout the town. The figure captures the disturbing, atmospheric horror that defines the Silent Hill franchise, with detailed sculpting that reflects the grotesque design of these iconic creatures.
