Eaglemoss Hero Collector presents Sonic the Hedgehog in their Pixel Sonic edition, part of the Sonic the Hedgehog Classic Figurine Collection. Sonic is Sega's iconic mascot, a blue hedgehog known for his supersonic speed and his ongoing battle against the villainous Dr. Eggman. The Classic era of Sonic refers to the character's original design and adventures from the Sega Genesis era, which remains beloved by fans decades after its debut. The Eaglemoss collection features hand-painted metallic resin figurines standing approximately 10.5cm tall, each accompanied by a twelve-page magazine. The collection was originally set for a gradual release starting in January 2020 but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with the full collection debuting on August 4, 2020. The figurines were retailed exclusively through Eaglemoss Hero Collector webshops and HMV retail stores, each featuring a unique display base.
