Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru - Arashiyama Hotori - Isohata Uki - Figma (#094) (Max Factory)Arashiyama Hotori, Isohata Uki · Max Factory

Max Factory's Figma line number 094 features Arashiyama Hotori and Isohata Uki from the anime Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru, also known as Sore-Machi. Sculpted by Asai (APSY) Masaki, the figure stands approximately 140mm tall and is priced at 2,857 JPY. Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru is a manga by Masakazu Ishiguro that received a 12-episode anime adaptation in 2010, directed by Akiyuki Shinbo and Naoyuki Tatsuwa at studio SHAFT. The series follows the clumsy, whiny, and happy-go-lucky Hotori Arashiyama, who works part-time at the Maid Seaside Café to repay the owner for curries she ate as a child. Hotori has a love for detective stories and mysteries but a deep dislike of mathematics. Uki Isohata is the proprietress and head maid of the café, whom Hotori has known since childhood and calls Granny despite having no blood relation. The slice-of-life story is occasionally interspersed with tales involving aliens, ghosts, and the paranormal. This Figma release captures both characters from the series, offering articulated posing options for fans of this lesser-known but charming SHAFT production.
