This figure is a collaboration between animation studio MADHOUSE and Design COCO, presenting Frieren from the acclaimed series Sousou no Frieren, also known as Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. Design COCO serves as both the manufacturer and sculptor for this release. Sousou no Frieren follows Frieren, an elven mage who was part of the hero party that defeated the Demon King alongside Himmel the hero, Heiter the priest, and Eisen the warrior. Because of her long elven lifespan, Frieren outlives her human companions and struggles to understand the depth of the bonds she shared with them during their decade-long journey. After Himmel's funeral, she embarks on a new journey of self-discovery, collecting spells and reflecting on the meaning of the connections she once took for granted. The series, animated by MADHOUSE, has been widely praised for its contemplative approach to the fantasy genre and its exploration of time, grief, and human relationships. The figure is part of an Art Nouveau style collection that also includes Himmel, with Design COCO handling the sculpting work to bring the series' distinctive aesthetic into three-dimensional form.
