His mission, Operation Strix, requires him to build a fake family to infiltrate an elite social circle and prevent a potential war between Westalis and its rival nation Ostania. Unbeknownst to him, his adopted daughter Anya is a telepath and his wife Yor is a deadly assassin known as Thorn Princess. Despite the deception at the core of their family, Loid gradually develops genuine care for his makeshift family, creating a heartwarming contrast to his cold professional exterior.
