PLUM's 1/8 scale figure captures Okabe Rintarou from the acclaimed visual novel and anime series Steins;Gate. This release portrays the eccentric protagonist in his iconic look that fans instantly recognize from the series. Rintaro Okabe, often nicknamed Okarin, is a self-proclaimed insane mad scientist who goes by the grandiose alias Hououin Kyouma. He runs the Future Gadget Lab in Akihabara, where he and his friends accidentally discover a method of sending messages to the past. Okabe is known for his chuunibyou tendencies, making dramatic declarations and pretending to fight against a mysterious Organization that he believes is always after him. He frequently talks to himself on his phone and bursts into maniacal laughter. Despite his delusional behavior, he deeply cares for his childhood friend Mayuri Shiina and the other lab members. His signature outfit consists of a white lab coat worn over a plain shirt and khaki slacks, with a red pen in the breast pocket. Standing at approximately 230mm tall, the figure is made from PVC and was sculpted by huke, the original character designer of the Steins;Gate series. It retailed for 6,800 yen.
