Sakura Kasugano is a Japanese schoolgirl who became captivated by street fighting after witnessing Ryu in action. She adopted a fighting style inspired by his techniques, including her own version of the Hadouken. Sakura's enthusiastic and determined personality has made her a fan-favorite since her debut in the Street Fighter Alpha series, where she travels the world seeking Ryu while balancing her ordinary school life with her passion for martial arts.
