Kotobukiya's ARTFX+ line brings a distinctive take on Superman with this 1/10 scale Clark Kent statue. Based on the "The TRUTH" story arc that began in Action Comics #41, this figure depicts a radically different version of the Man of Steel, stripped of his traditional costume and much of his power. In this storyline, Superman finds himself locked out of the Fortress of Solitude, having lost his ability to fly and with only a fraction of his strength remaining. He adopts a rugged new look with short hair and stubble, wearing jeans and a t-shirt bearing a fresh red S logo on a blue background. Wrapping scraps of his lost cape around his hand, Clark fights as the Man of the People, relying on his fists, experience, and the support of his friends rather than godlike abilities. This limited edition figure captures that defiant, grounded era of the character. Standing approximately 145mm tall, this pre-painted PVC and ABS statue was a limited edition item available through Kotobukiya shops. It offers collectors a unique representation of one of Superman's most unconventional periods.
