About this figure

This Ribbon-Don figure is part of the Taiko no Tatsujin Happy Set collaboration between Bandai Namco Entertainment and McDonald's, tied to Taiko no Tatsujin 14 DS3. Released in September 2010, these Happy Set toys were designed with interactive game functionality. Taiko no Tatsujin is a beloved rhythm game series featuring Don-chan, the cheerful taiko drum mascot who embarks on adventures transcending time and space. In the Rhythmic Adventure games, Don-chan battles over 250 monsters and enemy drums by connecting combos to deal damage, and can recruit defeated monsters to build a party. The series features over 130 tracks across its various installments, including popular anime songs. The Ribbon-Don toy specifically unlocks the ribbon costume in the game Yokai Great Decisive Battle! when its sound is detected by the Nintendo DS microphone, making it both a collectible figure and a functional game accessory that bridges physical play with digital content.
