When Shionne is struck by an arrow, her master core activates, allowing Alphen to draw the Blazing Sword — a weapon only he can wield due to his inability to feel pain, though it inflicts severe burns that require Shionne's healing. Together, they join the Crimson Crows to overthrow Balseph, and during the battle, his mask is half-shattered, revealing his true name.
