Tales of Symphonia - Zelos Wilder - ALTAiR - 1/8 (Alter)Zelos Wilder · 1/8 · Alter

Alter presents Zelos Wilder from Tales of Symphonia as part of their ALTAiR line in this 1/8 scale figure, sculpted by Numakura Toshiaki. The figure captures the Chosen of Tethe'alla in his characteristic confident pose. Zelos Wilder is a key protagonist in Tales of Symphonia, serving as the Chosen of Tethe'alla. On the surface, he appears to be a skirt-chasing, irresponsible narcissist, but this masks deep emotional pain stemming from a traumatic childhood. His mother Mylene was forced into an arranged marriage by the Cruxis Oracle, and she neglected Zelos throughout his early life. The defining tragedy occurred on a snowy day when Seles's mother attempted to kill young Zelos to make her daughter the Chosen, but Mylene was caught in the crossfire. Her dying words condemned him, saying he should never have been born. This event left Zelos with a deep loathing for snow, his Chosen status, and himself, driving much of his complex character arc throughout the game. Standing approximately 220mm tall and made from PVC, this figure carries the product code 4560228203509 and was originally priced at 8,800 JPY.
