Good Smile Company adds Tamahome to the Nendoroid series as figure #2054, bringing the beloved Celestial Warrior of Suzaku from the classic anime Fushigi Yuugi into chibi form. Standing approximately 100mm tall, this articulated plastic figure includes a stand for display. Fushigi Yuugi tells the story of Miaka Yuuki, a schoolgirl transported into a mysterious book where she becomes the Priestess of Suzaku, tasked with gathering the seven Celestial Warriors of Suzaku to summon the beast god and grant wishes. Tamahome is the first warrior Miaka encounters and her primary love interest, marked by the character on his forehead that appears when his warrior powers activate. He is fiercely protective and driven by a desire to provide for his family, making him one of the most emotionally complex characters in the series. Sculpted by karaage (GSAS) with cooperation from Nendoron, the figure includes three face plates: a determined expression, a combat face, and a gentle smiling face. Optional parts include a letter to Miaka and Miaka's ribbon, allowing collectors to recreate memorable scenes from the series.
