Funko Toys presents Atom from Osamu Tezuka's Tetsuwan Atom, also known internationally as Astro Boy, as part of the Hikari Sofubi line in the striking Infrared colorway. The Hikari Sofubi series represents Funko's premium vinyl figure offerings with high-quality finishes and limited production runs. Atom is the pioneering robot boy created by the legendary Osamu Tezuka, widely regarded as one of the most influential characters in manga and anime history. Originally serialized in 1952, Tetsuwan Atom tells the story of a powerful robot built by Dr. Tenma to replace his deceased son, who later fights for justice and robot rights in a futuristic world. The character remains a foundational icon of Japanese popular culture. This Infrared version was released in January 2014 as a limited edition of 750 pieces. The figure measures approximately 19cm tall and features the premium sofubi vinyl construction that distinguishes the Hikari line from Funko's standard offerings.
