Toy Qube introduces the Wooden Astro Boy Greeting in its OG (Original) version, a sculptural interpretation of Osamu Tezuka's iconic character Atom from Tetsuwan Atom. Standing approximately 304mm (12 inches) tall, this wooden art piece was launched at DesignerCon and represents a distinctive fusion of classic manga heritage and designer toy craftsmanship. Tetsuwan Atom, known internationally as Astro Boy, is one of the most influential manga and anime series ever created, originating from the visionary work of Osamu Tezuka. The character Atom is a robot boy with human emotions and extraordinary abilities, living in a futuristic world where humans and robots coexist. The series explored themes of artificial intelligence, civil rights, and what it means to be human, establishing foundational tropes that would influence the entire anime medium. This OG Wooden version stands approximately 304mm tall and is produced in a limited edition of 200 pieces, each accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity. A specialized technique and process were developed so that the wood's natural color and unique variegation create visual variation depending on angle and lighting, while ensuring the colors and details remain iconic and long-lasting. The sculpture comes packaged in a wooden box.
