Gecco, in collaboration with Mamegyorai, presents the Great Race of Yith from H.P. Lovecraft's novella The Shadow Out of Time. This figure brings one of Lovecraft's most enigmatic cosmic entities to three-dimensional form, crafted with the dark, intricate detail that Gecco is known for. The Great Race of Yith are sapient extraterrestrial entities from Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos, notable for their ability to project their minds across time and space, exchanging consciousness with beings of other species. In their Earth incarnation, they inhabited large cone-shaped bodies with a muscular foot for locomotion and four extensible tentacles, including one topped with a spherical head bearing three eyes and hearing organs. Their civilization flourished roughly two hundred million years ago before being destroyed by the flying polyps. The figure stands approximately 230mm tall and is made from polystone and polyurethane. The sculpt was a collaborative effort involving RYO, Paul Komoda, and David Dill, based on the original literary work of Howard Phillips Lovecraft.
