MegaHouse presents Kaburagi T. Kotetsu from Tiger & Bunny as part of their Palmate Extra series. Standing approximately 150mm tall and made from ABS and PVC, this figure is based on his appearance in the film Tiger & Bunny the Movie -The Rising-. Tiger & Bunny is set in Stern Bild, a futuristic metropolis where corporate-sponsored superheroes compete on a popular reality show called Hero TV. Kotetsu T. Kaburagi, known as Wild Tiger, is a veteran hero past his prime who struggles with declining powers and a strained relationship with his partner Barnaby Brooks Jr. The Rising film sees Kotetsu grappling with the possibility of retirement and the emergence of new threats that test his resolve as a hero. His old-fashioned ideals of justice often clash with the commercialized hero industry around him. Sculpted by Kyousuke Arai of Arai Kogyo with paintwork by Moriyama Nana of REVOLVE, this figure features a broader build to match Kotetsu's movie design. He is posed sitting with crossed legs, offering a distinct presentation from previous entries in the Palmate series. Released in July 2017, the figure retailed at 5,500 yen including tax.
