Kotobukiya's ARTFX J line captures Kaneki Ken from Tokyo Ghoul in his Awakened version at 1/8 scale. Ken Kaneki is a 19-year-old university freshman whose life changes forever after he receives an organ transplant from Rize, a ghoul who attempted to kill him before being crushed by a fallen steel beam. Following the surgery, Kaneki develops ghoul-like characteristics and struggles to maintain his humanity while concealing his new identity. The Awakened version depicts Kaneki in his transformed state, standing on a rubble base with his ghoul mask equipped and his kagune poised for battle, representing a pivotal moment in his descent into the ghoul world. The figure stands approximately 225mm tall, is made from ABS and PVC, and was sculpted by Tanabe Shin.
