Ques Q presents the Extra Color version of their Hyoujou Yutakana Poker Face figure featuring Hata no Kokoro from the Touhou Project. This 1/8 scale figure reimagines the mask-wearing character in a vibrant alternate color scheme that highlights the intricate detailing of the original sculpt. Hata no Kokoro is a menreiki, a youkai born from the masks of the legendary performer Hata no Kawakatsu, and she made her debut as the final boss of Touhou Project's Hopeless Masquerade. Each of her 66 masks represents a different emotion, and she struggles to understand and express feelings naturally, often relying on the masks to convey what she cannot. Her story explores themes of identity and emotional discovery, as she learns to navigate the complex social world of Gensokyo while coming to terms with the power and danger of the emotions her masks hold. The Poker Face theme of this figure playfully references her characteristic emotional ambiguity. Standing approximately 210mm tall, this ABS and PVC figure was sculpted by Mede Rukin, Itsukaichi Ayumu, and Kimi to Shiin. The Extra Color version offers collectors a fresh take on the popular original release.
