MegaHouse releases the Guipellon Class Multiple Flight Deck Astro Carrier Balgray as part of their Cosmo Fleet Special line for Space Battleship Yamato 2199. This model kit depicts one of the Gatlantis Empire's capital ships from the series. Space Battleship Yamato 2199 is a remake of the classic 1974 space opera anime, following the crew of the space battleship Yamato as they journey to the planet Iscandar to retrieve a device that can save Earth from radioactive contamination. The Gatlantis Empire serves as one of the major antagonistic forces in the Yamato universe, and their astro carriers are massive multi-deck vessels designed for space combat operations. The Balgray model measures approximately 160mm in length and was first made available in August 2014. It is produced by MegaHouse as part of the Cosmo Fleet Special series, which focuses on detailed ship models from the Yamato franchise.
