Mabell presents Duke Fleed, the main protagonist of UFO Robot Grendizer, in this collectible figure standing approximately 120mm tall. The figure captures the iconic character from the classic mecha anime series that helped define the super robot genre. Duke Fleed is the crown prince of Planet Fleed, forced to flee his homeworld after King Vega attacked and reduced it to a toxic wasteland. Duke managed to steal back the robot Grendizer using a Spazer and escaped, though he suffered radiation poisoning from Vegatron attacks during his flight. His navigational computer eventually led him to Earth, where he crash-landed and was found by Dr. Genzo Umon, who took him in and gave him the name Daisuke Umon. In his new life, Daisuke worked as a ranch hand for the Makiba family and befriended their children, Hikaru and Goro. Despite his calm and level-headed demeanor, Duke carries the heavy burden of being the last survivor of Planet Fleed and the pilot of its guardian robot. His thoughtful nature often contrasts with the more impulsive Koji Kabuto, creating compelling dynamics throughout the series.
