About this figure
Acro's Kaiju Remix Series reimagines Kemur Jin from the classic tokusatsu series Ultra Q through the distinctive artistic vision of Yasushi Nirasawa. This Tomo Hyakutake Painted Version represents a collaboration between the KRS (Kaiju Remix Series) and Nirasawa's design aesthetic, offering a fresh take on one of Japan's earliest television kaiju. Ultra Q aired in 1966 as a precursor to the Ultraman franchise, presenting standalone science fiction stories involving strange creatures and phenomena. Kemur Jin appeared as an alien entity in the series, one of many bizarre beings encountered throughout the show's run. The Kaiju Remix Series transforms classic tokusatsu creatures with modern sculptural reinterpretations. This prepainted figure stands approximately 380mm tall and was sculpted by Nirasawa Yasushi with painting by Tomo Hyakutake. It was released in December 2016 with a retail price of 13,824 yen.
