Bandai presents Ultraman Tiga as part of the Roots of Ultraman collection, celebrating the heritage of the iconic tokusatsu franchise. This figure depicts the giant of light who first appeared in the 1996 television series, marking a significant revival of the Ultraman brand after a long hiatus. Ultraman Tiga follows Daigo Madoka, a member of the defense team GUTS who inherits the power of an ancient giant of light. Unlike previous Ultraman heroes, Tiga possesses the unique ability to change between three forms: Multi Type for balanced combat, Sky Type for speed and aerial maneuvers, and Power Type for raw strength. The series established many conventions that would define the Heisei-era Ultraman shows and remains a fan favorite within the franchise's decades-long history. Produced by Bandai, the primary toy licensee for the Ultraman franchise, this Roots of Ultraman edition pays tribute to Tiga's foundational role in the modern era of the series.
