Tezuka Productions presents Akuma-kun from Osamu Tezuka's beloved Unico series in a Blue Glow version. Akuma-kun, known as Beezle in Western releases, is the Devil of Solitude who first appeared in the "Unico and Solitude" chapter. When West Wind leaves Unico on a desolate land at the ends of the Earth, the little unicorn encounters a massive demon statue that crumbles to reveal a small, crying demon — the new devil of solitude. Born in complete isolation, Akuma-kun struggles to understand the concept of friendship. His curiosity about Unico conflicts with what a devil of solitude represents, and he awkwardly navigates unfamiliar emotional territory. Despite appearing selfish and mean on the surface, Unico's compassion helps him confront his own loneliness. His endearing design and relatable insecurities about making friends have resonated with audiences since the 1981 film adaptation.
