A powerful vampire lord, Demitri challenged Belial Aensland for control of the Makai realm 100 years ago but was defeated and exiled. To survive the deadly sunlight of the human world, he created a supernatural field around his castle, spending 50 years recovering in his casket while emerging only under full moons to hunt. Those bitten by Demitri become loyal vampire servants, and he views human blood as the finest wine of Makai. He has been voiced by Nobuyuki Hiyama in most of his video game appearances and has appeared in crossover titles including Namco × Capcom and Project × Zone.
