Vocaloid characters, such as Hatsune Miku, originate from voice synthesizer software that debuted nearly 20 years ago. By inputting words and melodies into the software, users can create music using various voicebanks representing male and female Japanese singers. These virtual idols have exploded globally in popularity, expanding beyond their musical roots into anime, manga, and a wide array of merchandise. This collectible stands approximately 170mm tall and is crafted from ABS and PVC materials. It was sculpted by KEI and Otoyama Houjun.
