Luo Tianyi is a Chinese VOCALOID originally developed by Bplats, Inc. under the Yamaha Corporation in collaboration with Shanghai HENIAN. She was the grand winning entry of the VOCALOID CHINA contest held to choose the design of the first Chinese VOCALOID, released in July 2012 for the VOCALOID3 engine and later updated to VOCALOID4 and VOCALOID5. According to her lore, Tianyi is an angel who came to Earth with a mission to spread music throughout the world. She can detect the song of a person's heart, the strongest emotion they hold, and sing it even when they cannot express it themselves. Her personality is introverted but deeply empathetic, and she never gives up easily. She is voiced by Chinese voice actress Shan Xin, and her signature color is #66CCFF.
